Wednesday watch: I Am – Somebody

This week’s pick is a reminder why I was lucky to grow up watching Sesame Street. It features Jesse Jackson leading a group of kids in a call-and-response poem “I Am – Somebody.” As Jason Kottke points out, it makes it feel particular sad that a show that was designed to reach low-income kids has moved over to HBO.
