Air Compressor Buying Guide

An air compressor is a great investment because it can be used at home. You can use it for pressure cleaners, spray guns, and air wrenches. Before you buy an air compressor, you should think about what kind of jobs it could be used for and what types of tools you will use it with.

A compressor that has enough power will work properly. You can also visit compressedair.net.au/air-compressors/ if you want to buy the best air compressor.

CFM is the capacity of an air compressor to produce a certain amount of output at a given pressure. You should determine the power requirements of your air-powered tools before you purchase an air compressor.

There are three types of air compressors. They can be used for different jobs and power levels.

Compact Air Compressors These compressors are small and portable. Compact compressors are different because they don't have a storage tank. They are designed to run continuously to provide air.

Single-stage Compressors: These compressors compress air and store it in a tank using one piston. Single-stage compressors are usually smaller and have a pressure rating of fewer than 150 pounds per square inch (psi).

Two-stage Compressors: These compressors compress air and store it with two pistons. The first piston compresses the air and pushes it through a check valve to the second piston. The second piston then compresses and stores the air in the tank.

Regular maintenance is important. If you purchase an oil-lubricated compressor, you will need to change it regularly to keep the compressor in top condition.
