Wednesday watch: Mr. Rogers and race


Like many of you, I will always have fond memories of watching “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood.” However much we were aware of it at the time. Fred Rogers was teaching us important life lessons in a way that was revolutionary for the time. In this video, actor Francois Clemmons talks about the significance of being asked to play a black police officer on the show (h/t Jason Kottke).
